On October 1, my colleague and friend head off to Germany and Austria. We will spend until October 9th sleeping in Innsbruck but taking day trips to a variety of places. Day trips to Munich during Oktoberfest, Salzburg-where I might get a look at the Orff Institute, and the Italian Alps-where we will become Maria VonTrapp climbing the mountains are only the planned things. For two people, who do not drink, spending Oktoberfest in Munich should be interesting.
Have I packed? Of course not...I have Wednesday morning to do that. I just have little piles here and there.
